San Diego, CA (PRWEB) September 15, 2015
Aptus Court Reporting announced today that Sandy Waite has joined the court reporting company’s growing team as Chief Operating Officer (http://www.aptuscr.com/about-us/sandy-waite/). Waite brings a substantial resume to the table with over 25 years of experience in executive positions for court reporting and deposition services companies throughout California and the West Coast. Prior to joining Aptus, Waite served as the Vice President of Operations for Veritext Legal Solutions’ Western Region from 2011 to 2015. Waite joined Veritext from Sarnoff Court Reporters & Legal Technologies where she was the Vice President and General Manager for 11 years. Her initial foray into the court reporting industry began with Sarnoff Deposition Services, and continued when that company merged with Esquire Deposition Solutions in 1994, where she served as the Vice President and General Manager for six years.
“Aptus is a perfect fit for me because I have dedicated my career to developing talent and overseeing the growth and management of court reporting companies that care about putting people first. This company embodies that ethos without question,” says Waite. Based out of Aptus’ Irvine location, Waite will play an active role in the operational management of Aptus’ rapidly growing business, traveling often to the company’s San Diego and Northern California locations.
According to Aptus President Derek Berg, “I’ve always had a great amount of respect and admiration for Sandy’s accomplishments. We are excited to bring someone of Sandy’s caliber and experience to the employees, clients, and court reporters of Aptus. We believe that she will play an integral part in solidifying Aptus’ role in providing experienced and reliable services to the legal community.”
Waite’s addition follows the launch of Aptus’ new website, debuted earlier this month, and the grand opening of a new office location in Orange County (2601 Main St., Suite 280, Irvine, CA 92614). Earlier this year, Aptus expanded its market reach by opening new offices in Sacramento and Riverside and making a number of other key hires to facilitate business development and operational growth. In addition to continuing its growth and business development, the company is in the process of developing an Aptus – Enterprise Program geared toward providing court reporting services to in-house corporate legal teams.
