Cheyenne, Wyoming (PRWEB) September 11, 2015
Adopt A Highway Maintenance Corporation (AHMC) is pleased to announce the official launch of the Sponsor A Highway® Program in Cheyenne, Laramie, and Casper, Wyoming. AHMC will begin offering highway sponsorships to businesses throughout the state, starting in mid-September. While the Sponsor A Highway® Program has been around for over 20 years, this is the first corporate sponsorship program of its kind in the state of Wyoming.
AHMC will be working closely with WYDOT to implement these sponsorships in each major urban area. The Wyoming Sponsor A Highway® Program will be offering four different types of highway sponsorship: urban areas, rural areas, rest areas, and truck parking areas. Each business that joins the program will get their company name and logo in full color on a newly designed Sponsor A Highway® sign, and for every one-mile sponsored, AHMC crew members will remove trash and debris along each designated area.
The Wyoming Sponsor A Highway® Program is one of AHMC’s newest and most unique markets, making this a great opportunity for businesses throughout the state to gain positive recognition for their contribution to the community. AHMC hopes to eventually expand and make an even bigger impact on the environment by assisting WYDOT with the task of keeping all of its state highways clean.
“We’re looking forward to working with Adopt A Highway Maintenance Corporation on this new program to help keep our roadsides clean,” WYDOT State Maintenance Engineer Kent Ketterling said. “The Sponsor A Highway® program will provide a valuable service for the state at no cost to taxpayers, and supplement our already successful volunteer Adopt-A-Highway program.”
