Edison Awards Announces Open Call for Nominations

Throughout its rich history, the Edison Awards have recognized game-changing innovations that are at the forefront of new product and service development, marketing and human centered design, and are one of the highest accolades a company can receive in the name of successful innovation.
Nominations are being accepted now through December 4, 2015 in the following categories:

Since the inception of the program, Edison Awards has recognized the best new products and services, and has made it commonplace for winning products and services to quickly become household names and easily recognizable brands across the world.
Nominations will be judged against a set of four key criteria—Concept, Value, Delivery and Impact—intended to highlight and capture the true spirit of innovation. The nominations are then vetted against these criteria by the members of the Edison Awards Steering Committee and passed along to a panel of judges comprised of business leaders, product designers, engineers, scientists and academics representing a wide spectrum of industries.
“A percentage of each nomination fee is earmarked for educational programs designed to foster future innovators,” said Frank Bonafilia, Executive Director of the Edison Awards. “Winning an Edison Award brings international recognition and visibility to your product or service, and together, this is a winning combination for all nominees.”
The Edison Awards, which recognizes new innovative products and services, symbolize the persistence and excellence personified by Thomas Alva Edison (1847-1931); whose extraordinary new product and market development methods garnered him 1,093 U.S. patents and made his name recognizable throughout the world. Edison pioneered five industries that transformed our world, including the incandescent electric light and the distribution system for electrical power, the phonograph and recorded sound, the telephone transmitter, the electric storage battery, and the motion-picture camera.
