Plastic Surgery Practice magazine is proud to welcome its newest editorial advisory board member: dermatologist Jeffrey S. Dover, MD, FRCPC, a co-director of SkinCare Physicians in Chestnut Hill, Mass.
Dover was associate chairman, Department of Dermatology, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, and associate professor of dermatology at Harvard Medical School in Boston before founding SkinCare Physicians, a comprehensive facility specializing in dermatology, laser, and cosmetic surgery. Here, he helps direct SkinCare Research, a state-of-the-art clinical trial hub where a dozen studies are taking place at any point in time.
Dover is also an associate professor of clinical dermatology at Yale University School of Medicine in New Haven, Conn, and associate professor of dermatology at Brown Medical School in Providence, RI. He is past president of both the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery and the American Society for Lasers in Medicine and Surgery, and past secretary and president of the New England Dermatological Society. He has organized and directed numerous medical conferences, including Controversies in Cutaneous Laser and Cosmetic Surgery.
