Dali Matrix™, a modular platform which allows mobile operators to effortlessly update and expand their networks in a plug-and-play approach, has been shortlisted for the 2015 Telecoms.com Award in the “Pushing the Mobile Limits” category.

Dali Wireless, Inc., a global provider of the advanced all-digital RF Router® that transcends traditional distributed antenna systems (DAS), today announced that the Dali Matrix™, a modular platform which allows mobile operators to effortlessly update and expand their networks in a plug-and-play approach, has been shortlisted for the 2015 Telecoms.com Award in the “Pushing the Mobile Limits” category.

“Pushing the Mobile Limits” recognizes mobile-focused service providers, vendors, and/or operators that have made significant and ground-breaking technological advancements. As the category that attracted the most nominations out of all the categories last year, “Pushing the Mobile Limits” highlights entrants that have pushed the boundaries of network functionality, affording a glimpse of future mass market improvements.

The Dali Matrix, based on the RF Router®, is a modular platform which allows mobile operators to effortlessly update and expand their network in a plug-and-play approach. The flexibility of Matrix eliminates the need for operators to overhaul their existing networks to keep up with technology trends. With this approach, Matrix enables mobile operators to easily migrate to a RAN virtualization architecture as required. Matrix’s RAN virtualization capabilities exceeds those of cloud/centralized RAN (C RAN) by not only virtualizing the baseband, like C RAN, but also an operators’ most valuable asset – spectrum. With Matrix, radio resources are allocated and consumed only when required in order to maximize all deployed resources and to minimize Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).

Telecoms.com Awards recognize innovation and excellence in the global communications industry. Winners of the 2015 Telecoms.com Awards will selected by a panel of six judges consisting of influencers from the telecom industry, and announced on November 4, 2015 at a gala held at The Tower Hotel in London.
