FMC Corporation’s Health and Nutrition business announced today that it will exhibit its wide range of market leading ingredients and solutions at SupplySide West from October 5 to 9 in Las Vegas, Nevada. SupplySide West is the largest gathering of ingredient suppliers and buyers, expecting more than 15,000 influential professionals at this year’s show.

FMC’s booth will feature its world leading Epax brand of concentrated marine Omega-3 fatty acids. In addition to the ingredients that are currently offered, FMC will introduce EPAX 4535 TGN, the latest addition to its expanding Epax Ultra concentrate portfolio of even higher EPA/DHA concentrations. EPAX 4535 TGN is a pharmaceutical–strength ingredient suitable for premium supplement brands, with more than 80% EPA and DHA fatty acids. This ultra high concentrate enables a higher dosage EPA/DHA supplement in a convenient serving size for the consumer and demonstrates FMC’s commitment to growing the Omega-3 category. The new EPAX 4535 TGN is Friend Of the Sea and IFFO-RS certified for sustainable and responsible manufacturing practices.

“To our knowledge, the new EPAX 4535 TGN is the highest concentration of EPA and DHA in a 90% triglyceride oil available on the market, further cementing FMC’s Epax brand as a leader in the Omega-3 industry,” said Ravi Annavarapu, Global Platform Manager, Nutraceuticals and Natural Colors. “Through new products like EPAX 4535 TGN and EPAX 4030 EE, which we debuted in May and is also part of the Ultra range with more than 70% EPA and DHA fatty acids, as well as existing offerings like our Seagel soft gel technology and Natural Colors, we’re deepening our partnerships with brand owners and manufacturers to find efficient and targeted consumer solutions that support their sustained success.”

FMC will also showcase its carrageenan-based soft gel capsule technology, SeaGel, and its Natural Colors offerings. Seagel offers customers an effective alternative to gelatin, yielding a vegetarian capsule that is softer, more flexible and easier to ingest than traditional soft gels. FMC Natural Colors will be on display, touting derivation from a wide range of high-quality, globally diverse fruit and vegetable sources. FMC Natural Colors deliver reliable, consistent ingredients that meet almost every hue in the spectrum and align perfectly with popular flavor selections without affecting texture or taste.

With more than 20 global locations, FMC leverages its broad portfolio, commitment to collaboration and deep technical expertise to help guide customers in the nutrition, pharmaceutical and nutraceutical to customized solutions that meet their unique needs and offer sustained success.
