Picpal was featured on NewsWatch as part of its monthly AppWatch, which takes a look at the latest and coolest applications on the market for iOS, Android, and Windows. Joe Toohey, the host of AppWatch and technology expert, conducted the app review and shared with viewers how this app allows people to share real time selfie collages with friends.
Living in the now is a great way to enjoy life. Unfortunately it can be difficult to do with social media where people can create and image that’s not entirely themselves. With the new app Picpal, people can take real-time selfies with friends that capture the moment.
If someone takes a selfie using Picpal, users can, pick 1 to 3 friends that they want in their selfie collage. Both users receive an invite and they can respond with their very own selfie. Once all have responded, the pictures are automatically turned into a collage featuring the user and their friends.
Users can also each add text to selfies to add that personal touch. Once done, users can share the collage in the Picpal app with friends who can “heart” and comment on it, then upload it to either Facebook or Instagram. The app is available for free on iOS and Android devices.
