Previously only available as a limited edition summer seasonal, the Latin-inspired Horchatas have proven so popular with consumers, that the company has added them to its ongoing production line. The announcement coincides with Baltimore’s Natural Foods Expo East where the Company will be sampling both its Vanilla Coconut and Classic Cinnamon Almondmilk Horchatas from Sept 17-19.

Hispanic consumers – whose expenditures at grocery stores grew more than 80% over the 2001-2013 period and will reach $86 billion in 2018, according to Packaged Facts(2) – have always known the pleasure of horchata but now, with Califia Farms, they are discovering they can enjoy an old favorite again that is dairy-free, soy-free, gluten-free and non-GMO, while others are simply discovering the fabulous taste of these unique almond milk-based, vegan beverages that are not only delicious, but also low in sugars and calories.

The Horchatas are available in two flavors, Vanilla Coconut and Classic Cinnamon, and are made with Califia Farms’ award-winning Almondmilk, known for its great taste and creamy mouthfeel, combined with a rice milk and tigernut (chufa) milk blend for authenticity, flavor and texture.

In addition to showcasing Horchatas at Expo East, Califia Farms will also feature its innovative Concentrated Cold Brew coffee, which can be served hot or cold, sweet or strong, flavored or not, rich or subtle, alongside its seasonal Pumpkin Spice Latte, the only plant-powered, real pumpkin latte, available nationally.
