Viking Masek Global Packaging Technologies announced today that they will be featured in an upcoming episode of Innovations with Ed Begley Jr, later this year, 2015, via Discovery Channel. Dates and show times TBA.

Viking Masek Global Packaging Technologies manufactures, sells, and services vertical form, fill, and seal packaging machines (VFFS) for the packaging industry. This particular segment of Innovations will educate audiences on how Viking Masek is currently conquering the food packaging industry.

“Viking Masek can take a concept, develop it, and perfect it in a very short amount of time because of investments made in people and technology. Our end result is the fastest packaging machinery in the world,” said Viking Masek President, Rick Leonhard. “With our participation in the Innovations program, we look forward to not only demonstrating our capabilities, but also showing young people that careers in science, technology, engineering, and math are still very much in demand in a multitude of industries.”

Viewers will learn about the newest addition to its product range: Viking Masek’s rotary pouch fillers, which offer rotary fill and seal packaging of a wide variety of products, including fresh and frozen fruit, snacks, and liquids, into beautiful premade pouches.

“From multi-lane stick pack and the world's fastest VFFS machines, to pharmaceutical sachet packers and now rotary premade bag fillers, Viking Masek's line of packaging machines dominates the industry,” said John C. Ryff, Jr., Producer for the Series. “We look forward to bringing their capabilities to light in this exciting new episode.”
