The Control Group (TCG) was presented with two additional Silver Stevie® Awards in the Company of the Year and the Executive of the Year categories in The 13th Annual American Business Awards Friday night.
The American Business Awards are the nation’s premier business awards program. All organizations operating in the U.S.A. are eligible to submit nominations – public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small.
Friday, September 11 at the Julia Morgan Ballroom in San Francisco. More than 250 nominees and their guests attended for the presentation of new product awards, management awards, app awards, and more, where TCG added two more Silvers to the list of ABA Awards won this past year. The Silver ABA Stevie Award for Executive of the Year was awarded to Kris Kibak, CEO of The Control Group, and the Silver for Company of the Year was presented in the Computer Services & Software category.
This year’s American Business Awards were presented at two events. Last Friday night’s event focused on new product and technology-related categories, tech-related management, and select company/organization categories.
More than 3,300 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration in a wide range of categories, including Tech Startup of the Year, Software Executive of the Year, Best New Product or Service of the Year, and App of the Year, among others.
“We are extremely excited, having won six ABA awards this year; one of which being the Gold Stevie for Technology Team of the Year.” Said Sean Shahrokhi, Director of Communications and Public Relations for The Control Group. “This meant a lot, being this was the first year that we participated and look forward to next year’s competition.”
Stevie Award winners were selected by more than 200 executives nationwide who participated in the judging process.
“We are extremely impressed with the quality of the entries we received this year. The competition was intense and every organization that won should be proud,” said Michael Gallagher, president and founder of the Stevie Awards. “To those outstanding individuals and organizations that received Gold, Silver, and Bronze Stevie Awards, the judges and I are honored to celebrate your many accomplishments.
