Link-Assistant.Com, a software house focused on developing internet marketing tools, announced today an important addition to WebSite Auditor, one of the four tools in SEO PowerSuite. The just-added Google PageSpeed Insights, page speed and page usability factors will help users test, analyze, and improve their webpages' performance on any device. From now on, when WebSite Auditor finds a speed- or usability-related problem on one’s page, one will immediately get a how-to-fix tip.

“The just-released WebSite Auditor 4.4 provides users with unparalleled opportunities to improve their sites rankings and user experience, tackling two crucial aspects: page speed and mobile friendliness,” says Aleh Barysevich, Chief Marketing Officer and Co-Founder, Link-Assistant.Com.

“It’s no secret page speed and mobile friendliness are important. Page speed is not only a ranking factor, it also is a decisive aspect in determining whether visitors will stay on page or abandon it. Mobile friendliness, in its turn, has been taken very serious by Google lately and is crucial because of the growing volume of mobile traffic,” continues Aleh.

*What exactly has been added to WebSite Auditor*

WebSite Auditor 4.4 has been integrated with Google PageSpeed Insights, a web performance tool from Google that measures the performance of a page for mobile and desktop devices. Additionally, two groups of web performance factors have been added to WebSite Auditor: page speed (desktop) and page usability (mobile).

Page speed (desktop) is a complex value made up of 9 factors: page size, server response time, too many redirects, uncompressed resources, uncompressed images, uncached resources, unminified resources, render-blocking JavaScript/CSS, above-the-fold content prioritized.

Page usability (mobile) includes 6 factors: mobile friendly, viewport configured properly, too small text, too small tap targets, content outside viewport, page uses plugins.

WebSite Auditor will not only measure each factor, but also provide best practices on addressing problems if any.
The just-added page performance factors have been added to WebSite Auditor reports as well.
