Two Quorum Client Hospitals Named Among Modern Healthcare's Best Places to Work in Healthcare
(PRWEB) September 17, 2015 -- Two Quorum client hospitals were recently named among Modern Healthcare’s annual “Best Places to Work in Healthcare” for 2015: King’s Daughters Medical Center (Brookhaven, MS) and Neosho Memorial Regional Medical Center (Chanute, KS).
This is Neosho Memorial’s seventh consecutive year to make Modern Healthcare’s list and King’s Daughters Medical Center’s (KDMC’s) fourth consecutive year on the list.
“I can speak for all of us here at Neosho when I say that we take great pride in being among Modern Healthcare’s elite list of Best Places to Work in Healthcare,” said Dennis E. Franks, CEO of Neosho Memorial Regional Medical Center. “Our hospital received this award again for a simple reason—we focus on our mission and support one another in providing the highest quality of service to our patients.”
Now in its eighth year, the Modern Healthcare recognition program honors workplaces throughout the healthcare industry that empower their employees to provide patients and customers with the best possible care, products and services.
"This prestigious distinction spotlights the tremendous efforts made to create exceptional working environments," said Quorum President and CEO Mickey Bilbrey. “The recognition also highlights the outstanding work that the employees of KDMC and Neosho do on behalf of their patients and the communities they serve.”
“We are honored to be recognized as a Best Place to Work in Healthcare for the fourth year in a row,” said Alvin Hoover, CEO of King’s Daughters Medical Center. “KDMC is dedicated to always providing the best patient experience. That means that we need to always provide the best work environment for our employees and medical staff. This award is a reflection of that commitment and the dedication and comradery of the KDMC family.”
Modern Healthcare will reveal the ranked order of the 100 Best Places to Work in Healthcare for 2015 at a banquet on Oct. 14 in Nashville during its “Workplace of the Future” conference. The organizations will also be featured in a special supplement to be published in Modern Healthcare’s Oct. 19 issue.
