Procura, leading provider of home and community care software, announced today that they have secured a long term renewal of their Procura Mobile for Smart Phone contract with Bayshore HealthCare.

As the largest national provider of home and community health care services, Bayshore serves over 150,000 clients per year. Bayshore provides a wide variety of services including home health care, advanced clinical services, therapy and rehab, seniors wellness programs, pharmaceutical patient support programs, cancer patient assistance programs, diabetic supplies home delivery, and more.

One of many examples of the collaboration is the ability to configure personal support worker observations and progress notes. These notes automatically notify Bayshore’s care managers and field clinicians of potential concerns through Procura’s Work Flow and Alerts Engine and Clinical Day View modules. Such notifications permit proactive management of care in between visits from clinicians.

Regular updates and enhancements to the application provided Bayshore the confidence to make this business decision. Both companies plan to leverage the solution to include extended interdisciplinary mobile workforce communications capabilities, virtual care delivery, and peripheral medical device extensions.
