Eastern Pipe Service Announces Additions to Fleet of Service Trucks To Enhance Services
Manchester, NH (PRWEB) September 18, 2015 -- Eastern Pipe Service – a pipeline inspection, installation, cleaning, and repair company headquartered in central New Hampshire – has introduced two additions to their fleet of service trucks.
The additions will provide expanded services for Eastern Pipe Service commercial and residential customers and significantly increase the company’s ability to complete each job. The addition of these service enhancers also allows Eastern’s pipeline professionals to gather a complete summary of each inspection and repair with less disruption to the community in the vicinity of the job site.
“We have been researching and weighing the options that would best serve our customers,” says Hubert Thompson, general manager of Eastern Pipe Service. “These trucks utilize the newest technology on the market, and will decrease the time we must dedicate to each job. It will be the same quality service Eastern customers expect with half the wait.”
The specs and uses of the new trucks are as follows:
● A Lamp II Lateral & Mainline Probe Camera System. This feature will be used to bolster Eastern’s Perma-Liner™ Sectional Point Repair System. The system allows Eastern to conduct video pipeline inspections with minimal or zero site excavation, as well as mainline and lateral line locating and inspecting. Trenchless repair has become the industry standard and for good reason, according to Thompson, as it retains the integrity of the pipeline’s surrounding area, is done in a day’s work, and is environmentally friendly.
● A Vactor 2100 Series Positive Displacement catch-basin vacuum truck. This truck helps Eastern to restore catch basins, storm drains, car wash tanks, and main sewer lines in a shorter amount of time and with less disruption to the job site. Rocks, dirt, leaves, litter and other debris that blocks water flow out of catch basins and that clog storm sewers are quickly and easily cleared.
“The trenchless repair technology has turned most sewer assessment and repair jobs from a duration of 3-4 days and reduced them to 4-5 hour projects,” adds Thompson. “There are fewer disturbances to the community with fewer distractions for nearby homes and businesses. The vacuum truck will also decrease the time we need to spend at each site, and lessen the impact on the community in the area.”
