Syntermed, Inc. announces support for the ASNC ImageGuide Data Registry
Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) September 18, 2015 -- During this year's annual American Society of Nuclear Cardiology (ASNC) scientific sessions in Washington, D.C., Syntermed, Inc. will be demonstrating how Emory Cardiac Toolbox™ and SmartReport™ transparently extracts data, formats and submits the report to the ASNC ImageGuide Data Registry. No additional software is required; this ability has been built into Emory Toolbox v4.0 and is available for both desktop and Syntermed Live (cloud) clients.
The ImageGuide Data Registry will be the first cardiovascular nuclear imaging registry of its kind and will provide a fully integrated platform to seamlessly collect data in nuclear imaging labs to measure quality, safety and efficiency. In April 2015, CMS notified ASNC that the ImageGuide Data Registry has met all requirements for becoming a QCDR. As a QCDR, the ImageGuide Data Registry will enable participating physicians to avoid payment penalties related to Medicare Part B claims in the upcoming years.
"We included support for the ASNC ImageGuide Data Registry as part of the original Emory Toolbox (ECTb) and SmartReport v4.0 design specifications in recognition of pending PQRS requirements," says Richard Eppes, Director of Technology, Syntermed, Inc. "This allows users of our ECTb v4.0 desktop and cloud platforms to quickly and efficiently submit data to the ImageGuide Data Registry as part of their normal workflow without the need for additional software. In addition, we also wanted to make it easy for our OEM/Reseller partners to offer support for the registry to clients using Emory Cardiac Toolbox v4.0 and SmartReport."
Within the Emory Toolbox v4.0 and SmartReport software architecture, all of the pertinent data is aligned and meets the parameters and language set by ASNC for the ImageGuide Data Registry.
