Wi-Tronix’s Remote Monitoring System Discussed at American Bar Association Meeting
Chicago (PRWEB) September 18, 2015 -- Wi-Tronix, LLC’s monitoring of high-value mobile assets as part of the Internet of Things was the focus of a presentation at the American Bar Association’s Business (ABA) Law Section annual meeting in Chicago on September 17, 2015.
Michael D. Heilmann, Executive Vice President of Wi-Tronix, explained how Wi-Tronix’s innovative systems offer real-time information for trains and marine vessels. Wi-Tronix downloads data and makes reports available in real time, allowing its customers to know where their assets are; monitor fuel levels, engine performance, speed, and other safety systems; and plan for maintenance.
The ABA’s Cyberspace Law Committee meeting considered Mr. Heilmann’s presentation as part of its discussion on how the Internet of Things can change the way “old school” industries operate and grow, marrying the cyber and industrial worlds. The Cyberspace Law Committee includes business attorneys who practice in the areas of cyberspace, Internet law, cybersecurity, and intellectual property.
