UBM Advanstar, the fashion industry's premier trade show producer, will host the world-renowned Coterie trade show on September 19th – 21st in New York City. The three-day event, held at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, will showcase premier women’s Ready-to-Wear, Accessories and Footwear Spring/Summer 2016 collections under one roof, for an exclusive gathering of established designers, retailers, and press.
Considered an invaluable resource for global retailers and press alike, Coterie is the epicenter of fashion trade shows for both brands and retailers, and is equally regarded as the global marketplace for the future of fashion.
The event will be complete with 3 levels of over 1400 designers that will be visited by thousands of buyers from major retailers and niche boutiques hailing from more than 95 countries.
This season's pavilions will once again include TMRW, showcasing tomorrow’s premiere brands, Active, the bridge between contemporary sportswear and activewear, Sole Commerce, dedicated to footwear and handbags, FWD, showcasing sought-after juniors ready-to-wear and accessories, and for the third season in a row, BLUE, an installation dedicated to highlighting innovation in denim.

Sole Commerce @ Coterie
A trade show within Coterie dedicated exclusively to footwear and handbags, Sole Commerce merges leading brands with the best domestic and international retailers. Sole Commerce is a favorite among attendees and will be returning this season with its finest selection yet. Brand highlights include Superga, Splendid, Toms, Soludos, Schutz, Lacoste, Jeffrey Campbell, Kenneth Cole, Delman and Frye.
FWD @ Coterie
FWD will be showing the best of the juniors market, including apparel and denim. The addition of FWD allows exhibitors traditionally focused on the Las Vegas market the opportunity to showcase their collections on the East Coast. The show will also provide buyers the opportunity to include a new shopping portfolio. Highlights include Esley, Molly Bracken, On The Road, On Twelfth, Pearl88, and Renee C.
BLUE @ Coterie
BLUE returns for its third season at Coterie. BLUE celebrates the denim movement fueled by the spirit of denim celebrating creativity, innovation, and what’s next in denim. Presented in partnership with ISKO™, a leader in innovative denim fabrics and technologies, the BLUE installation will be prominently displayed at the front of the pavilion. COTERIE is also proud to partner with leading trend forecasting company WGSN, Flaunt Magazine, and ISKO™, to host and moderate a panel discussion on September 19th, 5.30pm at Affirmation Arts (523 West 37th Street) focusing on the spirit and future of denim, and featuring some of the leading minds in the industry.
The inaugural BLUE DENIM AWARDS will be presented on the last day of the show, to be awarded to brands in three categories: Innovative, Inspired, and Emerging.

This trade show companion gives buyers the chance to discover new brands and preview collections before, during and after Coterie. Shop The Floor specialists will be on-site at Coterie assisting with brand on-boarding as well as retail account activations and demonstrating the program’s newest features.
Coterie Mix, Volume 4
UBM Advanstar is excited to partner with CURASI MEDIA to present an exclusive music compilation entitled, Coterie Sole Commerce TMRW: Mix Volume 4, featuring new and exclusive music from artists including Best Coast, New Order, and Little Dragon. The compilation is available at the three-day event on CD and USB drives, and will stream online for a limited time only on SoundCloud.
S'well Eco Partnership
UBM Advanstar has partnered with S'well, a fashion-forward water bottle company, for the fifth consecutive season. S’well will provide convenient travel-size UBM Advanstar branded bottles in new spring colors to retailers so they may refill at water stations throughout the venue as an easy, responsible way to stay hydrated during Coterie.
