With a background in growing businesses for over 26 years, all in healthcare, Purnell has played a critical role in creating healthcare disruption through innovative revolutionary technologies, process reengineering and energizing a culture that focuses on solving problems in the healthcare system. Previous to DocsInk, Purnell was significantly involved in the growth of companies such as athenahealth, Healthcare Advisors, NextGen Healthcare and the merger and growth of Vitera Healthcare and Greenway Health. He has been responsible in over 3.5 billion dollars of equity owner pre tax profits and has been directly involved in over $945 million dollars in sales transactions.
As CGO, Purnell will be directly responsible for evangelizing DocsInk’s proven formula for improved communication, revenue, and health outcomes across the continuum. He will also lead the teams associated with all business development and strategic partnership efforts, to further extend the company’s expanding reach across the nation’s healthcare communities. Purnell will report directly to CEO, Julie Thomas.
