PinPoint, Find It, Share It Provides Funding For Cause-Related Corporate Initiatives By Finding Cost Savings With Deep Subject Matter Expertise

Accretive of San Diego and Savii Group announced today the formation of an alliance to bring a unique model to enhance Corporate Philanthropy: “PinPoint: Find-it. Share-it.” The model employs fiscally creative cost-savings & cost recovery practices to expand and increase the fundraising efforts of Foundations and other charitable organizations, opening up a large reservoir of found money that increase profits and fund philanthropic initiatives helping both businesses and the nonprofits they support.

Over the last 12-18 months Accretive and Savii have successfully employed the PinPoint model to contribute over $200,000 to nonprofits on corporate savings in excess of $2 million. Contributions derived from the PinPoint program so far have gone to support a variety of non-profits including:

  •     Junior Achievement of San Diego
  •     Easter Seals of Southern California
  •     MS Society / Pacific South Coast

“It’s exciting to be part of something so inherently good as a model like PinPoint FoundRaising that helps companies increase their profits and cash-flows AND also reinvests some of that back into the communities businesses operate in. Nothing is more fun than doing (nonprofit) check presentations using funds we helped a company find”, noted Accretive of San Diego founder, Mark Neilson, who co-developed the model.

Under the PinPoint, Find It, Share It program, client companies benefit from a unique ‘FoundRaising” funding model wherein businesses are offered a no-risk assessment to find potential expense savings and other found money opportunities. State & federal grants and tax credits are often identified as well, which can easily go overlooked amidst the complex maze of ever-changing incentive programs available to businesses and PinPoint™ commits a portion of their pay-on-performance revenue to a charity, foundation, or cause of the company’s choosing. Companies using the PinPoint, Find It, Share It program, typically commit some percentage share (often 10% or more) of the found money to the community organizations of their choosing, with no minimum commitment amount required.

“Leading companies are proving they CAN be a force for good, while also increasing profits,” adds Gina Manis-Anderson, founder of Savii Group and co-developer of PinPoint . In fact, there is now compelling evidence supporting the idea that doing social good, increasing employee engagement, supporting the community, or building sustainable businesses are actually strong revenue drivers in today’s increasingly conscientious marketplace.”

ACCRETIVE OF SAN DIEGO works with forward-thinking business executives to identify opportunities within their organizations to reduce operating expenses and access overlooked tax benefits and other government incentive plans. Accretive helps Companies share newly found funds with their chosen nonprofits.
