Dr Thio’s recruitment means that we are able to extend the choice of appointments available for visitors to our Clifton skin treatment centre, so that there are no waiting lists and patients can be seen same week or even same day if the schedule allows.

Cosmedics Skin Clinics has expanded their Bristol team of medical professionals with the appointment of Dr Sarah Thio MB ChB MRCS MRCGP DFFP DTMH.

Dr Sarah Thio specialises in minor cosmetic surgery procedures for removing common skin blemishes and lesions such as moles, cysts, skin tags, warts and lipoma. Her skill and experience in this area are such that she now trains GP registrars in minor surgery techniques.

Dr Sarah Thio joins the team with impeccable credentials. She graduated in Medicine in 1999 and has pursued training firstly as a surgeon and then as a General Practitioner. As a GP, Sarah works as a partner in a large practice alongside her commitments to Cosmedics and as such she is always alert to any potential medical concerns which may be associated with the appearance of skin blemishes, lumps and bumps.

Cosmedics’ founder, Medical Director and Aesthetic Doctor, Dr Ross Perry MBBS, comments:

“We are very pleased to welcome Dr Sarah Thio to our Bristol team.”

“As an experienced GP in minor surgery, Sarah now trains GP registrars in skin surgery methods. While no surgery can ever be ‘scar-free’, Sarah’s techniques aim to minimise the appearance of any mark once healing is complete and as such, her patients are generally delighted with the results.”

“Dr Thio’s recruitment means that we are able to extend the choice of appointments available for visitors to our Clifton skin treatment centre, so that there are no waiting lists and patients can be seen same week or even same day if the schedule allows.”

“Having issues such as moles, cysts, skin tags or a stubborn wart is something that many patients put up with for years before seeking treatment; but when they have finally decided to take action, patients are keen to have the problem dealt with as soon as possible. This is especially the case with moles where there may be health concerns around the appearance of the mole.”

“That’s why we’re keen to build our team and expand availability of appointments at every clinic – so that patients are able to be seen as soon as possible. If the patient and doctor agree, we are usually able to offer treatment straightaway, so that the mole (or other skin lesion) is removed without the need to arrange to come back.”

Dr Sarah Thio will also be offering cosmetic injections from November 2015.

Clients can be assured of private, confidential and professional service throughout, as Cosmedics’ attributes its success to putting patient care first.

Cosmedics Skin Clinics was established in 2003 and has built up an excellent reputation for cosmetic and medical treatments.
