The project comes as part of a move to increase internal operating procedures in line with expansion. It is an element of an ambitious one-year plan targeting two continents, four countries and twelve companies.

The project will be executed via a partnership with Asamco BV, to oversee the transition from modeling to implementation. Trabys has hands-on experience of Bizagi Modeler and was impressed with what she found.
“I have been in the business of process improvement for over 20 years and the Bizagi platform is a vast improvement on the tools I’ve used in the past. Creating diagrams is very quick - I managed to model the whole company in three weeks.”
Alexander Toufexis, director of Asamco, says "I was strongly impressed with the speed that an IT user is able to setup the various processes within Bizagi, requiring only limited programming knowledge."
The pilot project will target Portside’s IOU process whereby staff cash advances are verified, issued and approved. The BPM process will eliminate the need for physical rekeying and hard copy forms for companies across the group in Ghana and the Ivory Coast.
Following the current testing/evaluation phase, Portside plans to roll out up to 200 multi-language processes from its base in the Netherlands
