GSA Awards IdentityForce BPAs for Identity Monitoring, Data Breach Response and Protection Services

After undergoing a thorough vetting process, the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) has awarded IdentityForce a Tier 1 and Tier 2, five year government-wide Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPA) for Identity Monitoring, and Data Breach Response & Protection services. Tier 1 BPAs include contractors who have expertise with responding to data breaches that impact populations of a significant size. Tier 2 BPAs include contractors who have experience with providing routine data breach responses.

The GSA announced it has a plan to notify the 21.5 million affected by the OPM data breach by the end of this month. Under the BPAs, federal agencies have access to well-qualified contractors that provide a variety of identity protection services. The comprehensive package of services chosen by the GSA gives, federal agencies access to a variety of identity protection services including: consumer credit reports, address verification reports, and credit risk assessments, as well as identity restoration services involving suspected or actual breaches of sensitive personally identifiable information.

The BPAs have an estimated value of over $500 million and will be available to agencies for the next five years. Identity protection services will also be available to the dependents of affected breach victims.
