Rock Fiesta Spring Break 2016 - the Hottest Latino Music Festival Slated for March 18-19, 2016
Quartzsite, AZ (PRWEB) September 25, 2015 -- Two years in the making, Rock Fiesta is the result of a conversation between Festival Producer Hal Davidson and the Mexican electronic band Kinky at a Miami concert in 2013. The band explained that the US needed a Latino Rock Festival. Hal then traveled to 5 SW U.S. cities before being invited to come to Quartzsite by another promoter. Since Quartzsite is home to the mammoth Gem and RV Show in January and February, the town welcomed an additional event, taking advantage of mid-March when this otherwise hot place is only 80 degrees/day and 65-70 at night.
Contracts were signed over the last few months and now from the heat and dust of the Western Arizona desert rises Rock Fiesta! More information about the town of Quartzsite, Arizona can be found at http://www.ci.quartzsite.az.us/.
Festival producer Hal Davidson enthused, "This Latino rock festival is truly the first of its kind in the U.S. Only Ruidofest in Chicago and Supersonica in LA have staged similar events catered to the underserved Latino audience. We are looking forward to continuing this two-day/two-night camping event annually in the welcoming community of Quartzsite, Arizona."
This festival is about the music with one big stage and huge production for best quality sound and LED. For the first time in America, all of these bands will perform over two days. An early entry day, Thursday March 17, gives festival-goers the best campsites and is included in the weekend ticket.
The lineup of bands include: CAIFANES; MALDITA; VECINDAD; MOLOTOV; EL TRI; PANTEON; ROCOCO; PXNDX; KINKY; LOS AMIGOS INVISIBLES; NORTEC COLLECTIVE; BOSTICH + FUSSIBLE; DIVISION; MINUSCULA; OZOMATLI; PLASTINA MOSH; SILVERIO; SIDDHARTHA; MEXICAN DUBWISER, METALACHI, S7N and from Colombia, PALENKE SOULTRIBE.
