Today the API Strategy & Practice Conference (APIStrat) announced two new keynote speakers for the API industry event in Austin, Texas to be held November 18-20, 2015. Lori MacVittie, Principal Technical Evangelist at F5 Networks and Ashley Hathaway, Product Manager with IBM Watson Group will be among the industry leaders on the mainstage at the Sheraton Hotel at the Capitol in Austin. APIstrat also announced that the $299 Early Bird pricing is in place until September 30th.

“The organizing committee for APIStrat is pleased to announce the next round of keynotes that will be leading the main stage conversation in Austin this year,” said Kin Lane, of API Evangelist. “We look for talks from people who are truly leading the conversation within the API industry, and these two new speakers are definitely that.” These two extremely relevant keynotes add to the growing conversation at APIstrat, providing a high quality environment for other presentations, sessions and networking opportunities. Lori MacVittie is a subject matter expert on emerging technology responsible for education and evangelism across F5’s entire product suite. MacVittie has extensive development and technical architecture experience in both high-tech and enterprise organizations, in addition to network and systems administration expertise. Prior to joining F5, MacVittie was an award-winning technology editor at Network Computing Magazine. She holds a B.S. in Information and Computing Science from the University of Wisconsin at Green Bay, and an M.S. in Computer Science from Nova Southeastern University, and is an O’Reilly author.

Ashley Hathaway is a product manager who believes great design is great business. She has a passion for empowering teams to ship awesome products that delight stakeholders and users. She focuses on telling stories from holistic idea to tactile execution, and her process is rooted in scalability and collaboration. As part of a strong team she helps to prioritize, drive requirements, and realize the vision of a successful product for the IBM Watson Developer Cloud in Austin, Texas.
