Colorado Western Slope College Fair Sunday, October 4
Aspen, CO (PRWEB) September 25, 2015 -- For over a decade the Colorado Western Slope College Outreach has connected more than 2000 high school students from 82 Western Slope schools with 250 national and international college admissions representatives each year, at no cost to the students. This year’s Colorado Western Slope (CWS) College Fair will take place Sunday, October 4, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Aspen School District.
Applying for college can be a complicated web of documents, deadlines, and decisions. This year, the Colorado Western Slope College Fair will offer several workshops to answer questions about some of the most nerve-wracking aspects of the application process. Examples of topics include:
Having nightmares about taking the SAT and ACT tests? Try “Standardized Testing for College Admissions”.
Flummoxed about the word flummoxed? Take, “Writing the College Essay: An Insider’s Guide”.
Want to get as far away from home as possible? Take a seat at the “Attending College Abroad: International Options” workshop.
Balls or books, you can’t decide? “The College Bound Athlete” is the workshop for you.
