RISC Networks Finds That IT Teams Require More Effective Data than CMBDs Can Deliver
Asheville, North Carolina (PRWEB) September 24, 2015 -- According to cloud and data center analytics leader, RISC Networks, IT leaders are growing increasingly frustrated with the lack of information needed to move their data center and cloud projects forward. This lack of information stems from the archaic architectural design and snap-shot in time format that traditional configuration management databases (CMBD) deliver to IT teams.
RISC Networks’ team of analysts have found that Data Center, Network Infrastructure, and Security teams within medium to large enterprises require effective data for critical day-to-day decision-making, and that the current CMDB based data isn’t cutting it. The team at RISC Networks identified application, network and workload performance visibility to be the main challenge for IT teams during these cloud and data center projects.
“We found that organizations with thousands of workloads struggle to identify all of the application stacks running within their IT infrastructure” said Chief Analyst Jeremy Littlejohn. “Security, Network, and Data Center teams are depending on data more than ever and traditional systems are not meeting their needs”.
With the reality of corporate data centers and cloud infrastructure expanding and becoming more complex, CMDB tools are limited in the information they provide IT teams. Implementing CMBD tools is a complex task and in the end the data leaves open gaps and IT teams needing better data and visibility.
To address the ever-increasing demands, RISC Networks has optimized its CloudScape analytics by developing their Application Centric Visualization (ACV) technology. ACV delivers IT infrastructure visualizations in a way that changes how IT leaders see their infrastructure and helps increase the efficiency of making decisions during cloud and data center projects. Using ACV technology, RISC Networks and their impressive list of partners are helping IT leaders to make cloud and data center transformation projects more efficient and effective than ever before.
“CloudScape is an innovative tool in optimizing cloud migrations; one that will be critical in evaluating customers’ IT needs and developing tailored plans for their application, workload or data center transformations.” Said Kris Bliesner, CTO 2ndWatch, AWS Premier Consulting Partner.
RISC Networks will be demonstrating the Application Centric Visualization technology at Amazon Web Services re:Invent 2015 at the Sands Convention Center in Las Vegas from October 6 – 9th in booth 760.
Based in Asheville, North Carolina, RISC Networks offers award winning analytics and has been recognized by Gartner and 451 Research as an innovator in cloud management technology.
