Bill Bone Racing Team Member Crowned World Champion Triathlete
West Palm Beach, Florida (PRWEB) September 25, 2015 -- The Bill Bone Racing Team is proud to announce that Carol Hassell was crowned world champion at the grueling 750-meter swim, 20-kilometer bike, and 5-kilometer run 2015 International Triathlon Union Sprint Triathlon World Championships. Carol took home the gold medal in the 60-64 age group by posting an outstanding time of 1:20:59. When Carol isn’t proudly representing her country as a member of Team USA, she competes as an invaluable member of the Bill Bone Racing Team.

Approximately 2,000 elite athletes across all age groups from around the world participated in the 2015 World Championships. This year’s event was held in Chicago’s Grant Park from September 15 through 19. Carol earned her spot on Team USA in Chicago by finishing in second place for her age group at the 2014 USA Triathlon Age Group National Championships in Milwaukee.
