This highly interactive summit will delve into the biggest challenges facing innovators today, allowing the audience to discuss these as well as air questions on future opportunities with high level innovation professionals.

Rapid technological advancement has led to R&D operations constantly evolving. How can an organisation develop new products & services quickly to keep pace with the market, whilst maintaining the quality & values they subscribe to? Do innovation departments need a defined structure with KPIs in order to thrive?

The Chief Innovation Officer Summit aims to provide attendees with the knowledge & methods to take their innovation strategy to the next level; learning from industry leading executives and collaborating with high-level peers.

One major challenge to consider when implementing a new innovative strategy is how to efficiently manage the pipeline from ideation through to execution. Day 1 of the event will include a presentation from John Geyer, Chief Innovation Officer at MetLife, who will focus on the middle part of that pipeline. In his presentation, John explores an approach that helps put some structure to measuring ROI on innovation by building the correct KPIs. This session will allow delegates to explore the most beneficial approach for their organization & increase their understanding of the most effective next-practice instead of the generic best-practice which isn’t always relevant for everyone.

The concept of collaboration is evolving and changing at rapid pace. On day 2 of the summit, innovators, collaborators and R&D professionals will be voicing their opinions in the discussion on ‘The Future of Collaboration’. They’ll be assessing the essence of a successful partnership as well as the move away from transactional collaborations. Is open innovation reducing the need for R&D?

“This highly interactive summit will delve into the biggest challenges facing innovators today, allowing the audience to discuss these as well as air questions on future opportunities with high level innovation professionals ” Richard Angus; Conference Organiser.
