The Baesman Group, a leading marketing services company based in Hilliard, Ohio, is continuing its diversification by tripling its fulfillment space. The company recently purchased a 100,000 square foot building at 3820 Zane Trace Drive in Columbus, Ohio, to house its growing fulfillment operation.
For more than 60 years, Baesman has been the go-to printer for national retailers such as Lane Bryant, Polo Ralph Lauren and Charming Charlie. Twelve years ago, Baeseman began offering fulfillment services, as well, including secure storage, worldwide shipments, turnkey implementations and detailed online reporting. These services have been so well received that it became necessary to acquire a new warehouse to meet the escalating demand.
“We wanted to offer our clients the complete package,” explained Baesman CEO Rod Baesman. “It made perfect sense to not only print and manufacture our clients’ in-store signage and direct mail collateral, but also to safely store their promotional merchandise and make it simple to reorder and receive additional materials quickly.”
Baesman’s fulfillment program includes an online custom-ordering portal for each client that looks and feels like their own brand. A dedicated team then assists with project management, packaging, shipping and logistics that include real-time reporting every step of the way. Fulfillment clients include New York & Company and Polo Ralph Lauren.
Baesman’s Insights and Marketing division is also on the move. The 16-member team is relocating into a new 5,000 square foot office space in The Marconi Building in Downtown Columbus. Well known national retailers such as Kate Spade, Stanley Steemer and Shoe Carnival have turned to Insights and Marketing to capture their customers’ data, study and organize their customers’ behaviors, and then use these findings to create highly responsive marketing strategies that increase the bottom line.
