VideoAmp, a software and data platform for TV and video marketers, today appointed Amy McGovern as vice president of strategic sales. In this new role, McGovern will lead cross-screen sales efforts in the eastern region and head the newly opened office in New York. Additionally, in its continued growth across the U.S., VideoAmp is opening offices in Chicago and Detroit and expanding its San Francisco team.

McGovern joins VideoAmp from Fox Networks Group where she was the vice president of digital video ad sales. In her ten years at Fox, she successfully launched Fox Cable Entertainment’s TV Everywhere ad sales solution FXNOW. She created new revenue streams across devices and networks including FX, FXX, FXM, and National Geographic channels. Prior to this, Amy held management roles at GroupM’s MEC, a leading media agency network, where she was responsible for over $500 million in television investments and developed and implemented media planning and buying strategies across broadcast, cable and sports properties.
McGovern earned her Bachelor of Science in marketing from Fairfield University, where she also played division one women’s soccer.
