Her first professional job was as Chief of Operations for the Carnegie Foundation. Her teaching experience includes working as an instructor at the Stanford Graduate School of Buisness, guest lecturer at the Hasso Plattner Institute of Design and Stanford's Career Development Center. Harlan has also worked as a teacher with the Teach for America corps and a mentor for the Global Leadership Adventures program.
