MobilityWorks Recognized for the Tenth Time on Inc. 500|5000 List with Three-Year Sales Growth of 111%
Richfield, OH (PRWEB) September 25, 2015 -- Inc. magazine recently ranked WMK, Inc. (aka MobilityWorks) #3106 in its annual exclusive ranking of the nation's fastest-growing private companies. The list represents the most comprehensive look at the most important segment of the economy – America’s independent entrepreneurs. They are also recognized on the magazine’s honor roll as a Five-Time, Inc. 5000 Honoree. This is the tenth time for MobilityWorks to be ranked in the magazine, dating back to 2005 as an Inc. 500 company at #360. That was the same year that MobilityWorks founders Bill Koeblitz and Taylor Clark were named as Ernst & Young's Top 10 Entrepreneurs of the Year.
“We feel very fortunate to be doing what we do in helping people with physical challenges to be more independent,” said Bill Koeblitz, President/CEO of MobilityWorks. “It’s very humbling to hear their stories and to see how they persevere through everything.”
MobilityWorks has been proactively adding new store locations while also implementing a strategic growth plan that includes acquisitions. It was recently announced that WMK, Inc., dba "MobilityWorks" with 35 locations in 13 states, planned to merge with publicly traded HASCO Medical (OTCQB: HASC), with 22 locations in 11 states. The agreement, representing a purchase price of $23.5 million for all of HACSO’s shares, would form a private company with 57 total locations as a wholly-owned subsidiary of WMK. The merger is subject to filings with the SEC and is expected to close in the 4th quarter of 2015.
In addition to selling new and pre-owned accessible vans, MobilityWorks also provides custom equipped commercial vans for businesses that transport wheelchair passengers. Its vehicle showrooms also offer wheelchair vans for rent, scooter lifts, adaptive driving equipment and financing programs. Since everyone’s situation is different, the company emphasizes finding the right solution for each customer by meeting face-to-face and providing a thorough needs analysis.
“This recognition says a lot about our staff and the level of service they provide. I can’t say enough about them,” added Koeblitz. “We must be doing something right to have the kind of success we’ve experienced for this many years.”
