Aditya Shah, Monta Vista High School freshman, selected for Stanford Medicine X scholars program. As part of this program, he will be attending the fourth annual Medicine X conference that is being held on the Stanford University campus from September 25-27, 2015.

Monta Vista High School freshman Aditya Shah is seeing his hard work rewarded with Stanford Medicine X high school scholars program.

Medicine X is Stanford University School of Medicine's initiative focused on the intersection of emerging technologies and health care. The fourth annual Medicine X conference is being held on the Stanford University campus from September 25-27, 2015. The event includes a High School Scholars Program that provides highly motivated high school students interested in STEM the opportunity to attend the conference, and network with conference attendees.

Medicine X brings together the most innovative and engaging minds in academia and industry to exchange bold new ideas about the future of medicine and the role technology will play in improving health care. The conference attracts public health officials, venture capitalists, health-care practitioners, researchers, technologists, patients, design experts, and business leaders. Stanford Medicine X 2012 drew nearly 500 attendees from 30 countries.

Aditya has won Science Fair competitions at the school level. In addition, his projects were selected for the Maker Faire 2014 and 2015. This is a great honor and exciting opportunity for Aditya to be part of this conference and interact with the leaders in the healthcare industry.
