Eggers, Assistant Professor at NYU Stern School of Business, recently met with Jennifer Crumpton, Sarder TV correspondent, to talk about his career and his research into managerial decision-making and technological change. Professor Eggers started out his career with a background in 18th and 19th century history, and then moved into business management earning his M.B.A. from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University and his Ph.D from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. His business background includes working as a Senior Strategist at Viant, Inc, a Strategy Consultant at Kurt Salmon Associates and a consultant at Sinsheimer Group. During his business career, Eggers focused on product development strategy in alignment with technological change. Clients included such diverse companies as NASCAR, Nordstrom, YKK Zippers and Coca-Cola. J.P. Eggers also worked for a time in the political arena as a political consultant at the congressional, senatorial and gubernatorial level.
