WHAT: Annual gala to support Project Avary, a nonprofit organization that provides programs and support for children in the San Francisco Bay Area who have a parent in prison.

WHEN: Wednesday, October 21, 2015, 6:30-9:30 pm

WHERE: The Great American Music Hall, 859 O’Farrell St., San Francisco

HOST: Celeste Perry, BIG 103.7 and KOFY-TV

WHO: Noted San Francisco newspaper editor Phil Bronstein will conduct an onstage interview with San Francisco Public Defender Jeff Adachi about the impact on children of having an incarcerated parent.

HOST COMMITTEE: Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi, Congressman Jared Huffman, State Senator Mark Leno, State Senator Mike McGuire, Wilkes Bashford, San Francisco District Attorney George Gascón, Marin County Public Defender Jose Varela, Marin County Supervisor Steve Kinsey.
