Gladinet now provides a multi-tenant, self-hosted file sync and share platform for service providers with business and licensing models that are designed to facilitate their revenue growth. The platform is highly scalable to keep infrastructure costs down, and allows service providers and partners to own the customer relationship by controlling branding and billing. Gladinet also provides a partner portal that now makes it easy for partners to engage with their own channel by purchasing licenses from Gladinet and them assigning them to any of their Gladinet installations or resellers.

Gladinet's cloud-based file sync and share platform offers monthly subscriptions based on the actual number of users. Gladinet partners typically install the platform on their servers, configure it with their storage and then use the partner portal to enable a monthly subscription for a certain number of users. The subscription includes rights to all platform updates, including bug fixes, enhancements and new releases. The low cost subscriptions allow partners to pay only for the currently active users. Licensing costs will then gradually increase as users are added to the platform. Once the subscription has been activated, licenses are assigned to the Gladinet installation.

The new partner portal also facilitates cases where the subscription owner may not be the one deploying the file sync and share platform. For example, some Gladinet partners may have their own resellers. In this case, the direct Gladinet partner may assign licenses to the reseller and the reseller will in turn assign licenses to each of the Gladinet installations they have deployed.
