Senior Helpers®, one of the nation’s largest in-home senior care franchised businesses, announced a multi-year agreement with Kinnser® Software, the Austin, TX-based creator of the most widely used software solutions in post-acute care. Kinnser’s software for in-home care, called Kinnser ADL®, provides a web-based and mobile-enabled platform through which Senior Helpers’ business owners and caregivers can better manage, track, and communicate care results to the seniors and families they serve.
“We have been really focused on perfecting how our business owners streamline their operations and communicate with clients and families,” said Senior Helpers President, Craig Leonard. “When we did the analysis of home care software that met our criteria, Kinnser was the perfect fit for us.”
The software will allow Senior Helpers franchise locations to centralize scheduling, invoicing, and client communication on one web-enabled platform that is accessible through any device from any location. "Senior Helpers and Kinnser share fundamental values and a passionate commitment to quality care," says Chris Hester, founder and president of Kinnser Software. "We are proud to provide Senior Helpers with an innovative, mobile software solution that will help them meet the needs of their clients, improve communication with families, and make their businesses stronger."
A unique feature of the Kinnser ADL software is the FamilyCARES™ portal. Designed to provide clients and their loved ones visibility into the care that their Senior Helpers’ caregiver is providing, the FamilyCARES portal allows them to view up-to-the-minute shift logs, clock-ins, and activities performed. This means peace of mind and greater value for the families that Senior Helpers franchisees serve. Caregivers will also be able to use the platform to report care results and details that are important to both families and Senior Helpers’ business operators. “Providing outstanding service to our clients remains critical to the growth of our business,” says Leonard. “Kinnser puts our business operators in a position where they can respond in real time to client and family needs and track these details easily from their smartphone, desktop, or wherever they happen to be working.”
The selection of Kinnser was announced on September 18th during the Senior Helpers 2015 Annual Conference in Orlando, Florida. In attendance at the conference were Senior Helpers’ executive leadership, franchise owners from across the country, and members of the Kinnser organization. A pilot group of franchisees has been using the software with excellent results. Senior Helpers will continue the rollout and implementation of the platform to franchise locations nationwide over the course of the next several months.
