Southern Vacation Rentals Heads into 4th Quarter with Record Breaking Bookings
Destin, FL (PRWEB) September 28, 2015 -- Southern Vacation Rentals – a member of the locally owned and operated Southern family of companies – is on track to exceed standards set in the Gulf Coast vacation rental industry for bookings this fall. On average it is safe to assume that as the weather cools, so do the number of reservations. This year Southern heads into the fourth quarter with a record number of arrivals. Part of this increase can be ascribed to the distribution of fall breaks and numerous area events that are expected to draw large crowds to the Gulf Coast.
“From the beautiful weather to the fantastic events, it is safe to say there is nothing quite like fall on the Gulf Coast,” said Southern Owner Mike Shoults. “We have to attribute our high occupancy rate to the hard work not only on our staff’s end, but to other local organizations who have made it a goal to increase awareness of area happenings.”
Many notable festivals and events are scheduled within the next few months and likely to increase bookings throughout Southern’s accommodations in Northwest Florida and Coastal Alabama. Festival goers have started their search for condos and beach homes in Orange Beach, to attend family-friendly events such as the National Shrimp Festival and Oyster Cook-Off. The Pensacola Beach and Perdido Key areas are expected to draw large crowds for popular events such as the Art and Wine Festival and the Frank Brown Songwriter’s Festival, while the Destin Seafood Festival, Seeing Red Wine Festival on 30A and Panama City Beach’s biker rally, Thunder Beach are projected to increase bookings in Southern’s Emerald Coast vacation rentals.
