Stelligent, a specialized technology services firm focused exclusively on DevOps Automation in the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud, announced today that it has achieved the AWS Partner Network (APN) DevOps Competency designation. This means that Stelligent has demonstrated technical proficiency and proven success in helping customers achieve continuous delivery capabilities in the AWS Cloud, as required by the APN Competency Program.

“The ability to deploy high-quality code in hours, not months, is now something that we can help any company achieve,” said Rob Daly, Stelligent CEO and co-founder. “The combination of AWS and open source tools, infrastructure automation, and continuous delivery pipelines is drastically reducing our customers’ development times, while increasing the rate at which they can introduce new features.”

A crucial element to any continuous delivery system is having the ability to automate everything. AWS provides an extensive set of APIs, as well as support for other key elements, such as Chef and Docker, that provide Stelligent DevOps Automation engineers with the core tools needed to completely automate infrastructures, and enable continuous delivery pipelines to spin up any number of configurations that might be needed to deliver new features to customers. Integration, performance, and security testing environments can be instantiated on-demand, tested automatically, and spun down when no longer needed, all without waiting for someone and all benefiting from the on-demand nature of AWS. Likewise, rolling deployments, blue/green deployments, and A/B testing patterns for the production stage can also be completely automated and generally make deployments non-events.

The APN Competency Program is designed to highlight top-quality APN Partners that have demonstrated success in specialized solution and vertical areas. DevOps Competency Partners have deep capabilities and demonstrated past performance helping customers transform their business to be more efficient and agile leveraging the AWS platform and DevOps principles, particularly around continuous integration, continuous delivery, and configuration management.

With Stelligent’s Continuous Delivery solutions, customers can release new features to users, on demand, and reduce the costs of delivering software by reducing overall lead time. Resulting benefits include the following:

●    the ability to release software with every successful change
●    significant reduction of cycle time
●    increased confidence in what is deployed
●    increase in ability to experiment
●    reduction of overall costs

“We are proud to work with AWS to deliver DevOps solutions to our customers, allowing them to release new features to users whenever they choose,” said Daly. “Attaining the DevOps Competency means a lot to us — this is what we live and breathe, and we do so exclusively for our customers targeting AWS. We obsess over customers, and we obsess over applying what we believe are essential practices to achieve the aims of continuous delivery. This acknowledgement will help us reach still more customers who value that passion.”
