HCC Medical Insurance Services Releases New Golf Product
Indianapolis, Indiana (PRWEB) September 29, 2015 -- HCC Medical Insurance Services, LLC (HCCMIS), a provider of global travel medical insurance, today announces the addition of a new product, Atlas Golf™, to its suite of Atlas Travel® products.
Atlas Golf plans offer weather and equipment coverage to people traveling outside of their home country to play golf. HCCMIS has partnered with Weather Analytics to develop Atlas Travelcast™, a planning tool featuring a “misery index,” which gives each covered course a score based on weather-related conditions. If rainfall accumulations total more than the course’s pre-determined threshold (based on years of historical weather data) during a member’s trip, the member would receive the appropriate payout based on the level of coverage purchased. Weather Analytics has compiled 36+ years of historical data spanning all continents and HCCMIS is proud to bring their experience and expertise to its product lines.
Atlas Golf policies also provide coverage for loss of or damage to golf equipment, as well as an equipment rental benefit for those situations. With three different levels of coverage, this plan is suited for many types of golf travelers.
Standard Atlas Travel medical insurance coverage is also included in the Atlas Golf line. Benefits include emergency medical evacuation, accidental death and dismemberment, emergency assistance, and up to $2 million in coverage.
“By adding this proprietary weather benefit to our leading global travel insurance product, we are able to differentiate our brand and offer unique benefits in this growing international golf market segment", says Mark Carney, President and CEO of HCC Medical Insurance Services.
