Focused on Enhancing the Guest Experience, Kohler Waters Spa Increases Co-Ed Relaxation Space and Launches Seasonal Experiences
Kohler, Wis. (PRWEB) September 29, 2015 -- Long established as an industry leader in health, wellness and hydrotherapy experiences, Kohler Waters Spa is never one to rest on its laurels. Focused on continuously improving the Five-Star guest experience at Kohler Waters Spa at Destination Kohler, the team has updated the 25,000 square-foot facility to include more co-ed relaxation spaces to accommodate spa-goers who desire more common areas where guests can spend time together before and after services. These updates coincide with the spa also launching new seasonal services for the fall and winter.
Time Together Is Time Well Spent
“We continue to see more groups and couples coming in who wish to spend time with each other, in addition to having time alone to enjoy spa services,” said Director Kohler Waters Spas Garrett Mersberger. “When guests and groups travel together, they want to spend time catching up, laughing and enjoying each other’s company. While the location and activities are important when planning a getaway, together time is equally as important.” Mersberger references couples traveling together, girls and guys getaways, and bachelorette and wedding parties who all look for locations where they can congregate and socialize.
The first floor of Kohler Waters Spa now includes two revamped areas to accommodate guests who wish to relax before and after services. One area, on the west side of the first floor, includes new lounge chairs, chromotherapy lights and curtains for privacy. The other area, off the south side of the spa, includes comfortable couches and chairs, tables for dining, outdoor seating and a television. Both spaces offer the ability for individuals to rest or groups to engage with one another. These spaces are co-ed and are also open for guests to enjoy spa lunch at their leisure.
In addition, the first floor lobby includes more seating and floor-to-ceiling blue glass decorative panels that have the look and feel of water. Each design element of the spa has been specifically picked out to look, feel, sound or mimic the essence of water – a Kohler Waters Spa specialty. The lower level of the spa also includes new comfortable furniture in the co-ed relaxation spaces, some new pieces and others refurbished.
“When we talk about health and wellness at Kohler Waters Spa, we talk not only about the detoxifying and thoughtful services we offer, but also about the importance of the ambiance – how sound, colors and atmosphere also contribute to a healthy mind, body and soul,” added Mersberger. “Our goal with the updated spaces is to provide that ultimate getaway for each person.”
