The AAFPRS is the world’s largest specialty association for facial plastic surgery. The organization seeks to educate medial professionals, government and the general public about facial plastic surgery as a specialty that requires intensive training and competence, embodies high ethical standards, artistic ideals, commitment to humanitarian service and a desire to enhance the quality of human life.
“I am honored to follow my esteemed colleague, outgoing president Dr. Stephen S. Park, and hope to make as big of a difference to the AAFPRS as he did during his tenure,” says Dr. Williams. “My primary goal as President is to help our members differentiate themselves from less qualified providers of aesthetic services. With the implementation of the affordable care act, the healthcare landscape is rapidly changing and we can expect an increasing number of providers entering what they consider a more profitable area of medicine.”

He is also a Diplomat of the National Board of Medical Examiners. Dr. Williams is dedicated to assisting other facial plastic surgeons during their education. He has participated as a fellowship director of the AAFPRS fellowship program since 1999. During his tenure, he has fostered the surgical expertise of nine facial plastic and reconstructive surgeons.
As AAFPRS President, Dr. Williams will also closely collaborate with other "core specialties" in the cosmetic surgery field, and include the continued development of AAFPRS’ outstanding educational programs including the online version, partnering with industry on research efforts, and continual efforts to explore and add value to existing and loyal members of the AAFPRS.
