ADG Creative Recognized by DoD for Extraordinary Support of National Guard and Reserve
Columbia, MD (PRWEB) October 01, 2015 -- The Maryland Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), a Department of Defense (DoD) office, has awarded Columbia-based ADG Creative an "Above and Beyond" Award, recognizing the service of ADG employees in the National Guard and Reserve and the firm’s support of its men and women who serve.
The award was created by ESGR to honor American employers that provide extraordinary patriotic support. The award recognized ADG’s company policy that allows 10 days of paid military leave per calendar year to its employees who serve. Just recently, one of ADG’s designers served a nine-month deployment overseas with the Pennsylvania Air National Guard.
“Receiving this award is truly an honor,” said ADG’s Chief Creative Office Jeff Antkowiak. “Many of our employees have served and continue to serve in the U.S. military, and we are proud to be an organization that actively contributes, in any way we can, to the defense of our nation.”
ESGR promotes and facilitates employer support for the National Guard and Reserve by implementing mutually beneficial initiatives, recognizing outstanding employer support and advocating for employers within the DoD. ESGR also encourages and supports the employment of Guardsmen and Reservists who bring leadership to the civilian workforce.
