Local business, Martin White Glove Delivery, was selected to deliver the custom made chairs used by Pope Francis during his visit to Philadelphia this week. The chairs, made by Thos. Moser, custom furniture makers based in Maine, were packed, crated, delivered to the city earlier this month by a team of furniture moving professionals.

Martin White Glove Delivery, owned by Winchester brothers, Don and Gary Martin has a long history in the furniture moving business. Spun off from 3rd generation Clark & Reid in 2013, Martin White Glove delivers furniture from artisans like Thos. Moser throughout the mid-Atlantic region.

“The Pope’s visit to the US is a national event, but we were excited to contribute in a small way to the vast logistics that are critical to such an important undertaking. We have worked with Thos. Moser for over a decade and so they were confident that we would take proper care of their custom crafted chairs”, says Don Martin, President of Martin White Glove Delivery.

Martin White Glove Delivery, located in Billerica, MA began as a division of Clark & Reid in 2001. Serving the needs of fine furniture makers, it manages the white glove delivery logistics for companies throughout the the eastern part of the United States.
