The Distressed Residential Mortgage Summit is a premier conference focused on the note sales market. Held from September 30, 2015 to October 1, 2015, the conference brings together some of the most active leaders in the distressed mortgage and trading space, including American Homeowner Preservation CEO Jorge Newbery. The summit offers attendees the opportunity to network with top note sales executives and learn about current industry trends and market developments.

Panel discussions are scheduled to cover a wide range of topics including Trade Due Diligence on Large Portfolios, Portfolio Management and New Capital Generation Strategies. Jorge Newbery will be featured on the New Capital Generation Strategies panel, moderated by Austin Kilgore, Editor-in-Chief of Sourcemedia Mortgage Group. Newbery will offer insight on how to raise capital to buy nonperforming mortgages, including his experiences with real estate crowdfunding. “With online capital raising, entrepreneurs can take a step beyond friends and family to reach a much larger pool of investors,” said Newbery. Joining Newbery as a panelist is Brett Benson, Managing Director of RockTop Partners.

This year’s summit will see Peter Andrews, founder and CEO of Dreambuilder Investments, as Conference Chair and Frank Nothaft, Chief Economist for CoreLogic, as the keynote speaker. Other guest panelists include Bob Ives, Vice President of Retained Portfolio Asset Management for Fannie Mae, Bill Bymel, President of RSI Asset Management for Spurs Capital, and Terry Smith, CEO of Rushmore Loan Management Services.
