“Leading with 2020 Vision” in Los Angeles Oct. 6 Offers Networking, Growth and Learning Opportunities

The Vistage Executive Summit is days away and “Leading with 2020 Vision” is where the innovative leaders of today will be setting the inspired agenda of tomorrow, according to Vistage Worldwide. Hosted by Dialog Consulting Group President, member of Vistage Group CE 676 and award-winning speaker Dave Nelsen, the Vistage Executive Summit takes place Oct. 6 at the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles.

“Our members learn how to think like futurists, anticipate the coming changes within their industries, and prosper in a rapidly changing global economy,” said Leon Shapiro, Vistage CEO. “The Vistage Executive Summit is a great opportunity for CEOs, senior executives, and business owners to energize each other while mapping out their business strategies through the year 2020.”

“Leading with 2020 Vision” will feature Sheryl Connelly, Global Consumer Trends and Futuring Manager of Ford Motor Company, speaking about “Building Positive Business in a Rapidly Changing World;” Mike Maddock, CEO and Founding Partner of Maddock Douglas, Inc., presenting “Visionary Execution: Unleashing Your Company’s Future Potential;” and Robert Stephens, Founder of Geek Squad, sharing “Lessons from the Geek Squad Story.”

Members can start off the VES with a choice of breakout breakfast sessions hosted by the following Vistage Networks, which offer members the opportunity to connect around shared interests and industries:

  • Marketing and Media Network—Dedicated to excellence in the marketing and media industry, the breakout session will focus on gaining perspectives that can boost the impact of marketing campaigns and strategies, sharing emerging technology and tools to enhance business performance, and forging new relationships and strategic partnerships.
  • Women in Leadership Network—Devoted to engaging and supporting female leaders, this session will help attendees expand regional networks, share innovative tools, identify and address internal and external barriers to success, and build lasting personal and business relationships.
  • Corporate Social Responsibility Network—Committed to creating a better world through conscious business practices, this session will connect members with like-minded business leaders sharing best practices and action plans for company integration and community engagement, while exploring topics of sustainability and incorporating corporate social responsibility with the bottom line.
  • Travel, Food and Wine Network—This newly launched network connects Vistage members while discussing top-rated food and wine destinations for upcoming business meetings and dinners, sharing travel tips and trends, and arranging future meet-ups to continue the conversations.

The breakfast breakout sessions are followed by a variety of engaging speakers and actionable workshops, capped off by a final networking reception. The event will be attended by 400 members of Vistage, guests, sponsors and registered media.
