Cyber attacks on large, well-known businesses get the headlines, but statistics show smaller organizations are at greater risk. Three out of five cyber attacks in 2014 targeted small and midsize companies.

October is Cyber Security Awareness Month and Philadelphia Insurance Companies (PHLY) is presenting a free webinar – Cyber Security for Small Businesses. The 30 minute webinar will be available to PHLY agents and customers through PHLY.com/MyPHLY on Tuesday, October 13th and will be valuable to business owners as well as insurance agents and risk management professionals that advise these businesses. Topics include:

  •     Internal cyber threats that impact small businesses
  •     External cyber threats that impact small businesses
  •     Cyber risk mitigation and best practices

PHLY will also be sharing helpful cyber attack information on social media using the hashtag #CyberSecurity.
