Siborg Systems Inc. to Give a Presentation for LCR-Reader LCR-meter at Taipei’s International Electronics Show
Waterloo, Ontario (PRWEB) October 07, 2015 -- Siborg Systems Inc. will attend Taitronics: Taipei’s International Electronics Show, showing the LCR-Reader and Smart Tweezers LCR-meter ST-5S. Siborg is presenting LCR-Reader and the history of Smart Tweezers development as well as other valuable information about the devices.
This year marks the 41st Taitronics electronics show, which is known for featuring leading technology and equipment for consumers and manufacturers. The products shown include: consumer electronics, batteries and power supplies, lighting and applications, components, cloud technology, broadband products, electrical energy, industrial process and automation equipment, and instrumentation and meters for electronics.
Siborg will be giving a 20 minute presentation about the LCR-Reader at 11:30AM on October 7th at the Nangang Exhibition Hall. The presentation will cover the LCR-Readers features and technical specifications, including the main advantages of the LCR-Reader compared to Smart Tweezers; the new calibration jig and the future of LCR-Reader’s calibration; as well as a history of the Smart Tweezers line and models of devices since its launch in the early 2000’s. Above all else, the presentation will help educate potential users to the LCR-Reader and Smart Tweezers devices and their ability to quickly test and troubleshoot SMT.
LCR-Reader is the newest model in the Smart Tweezers line of digital LCR-meters. Unlike other multimeters that require both hands to operate the wire leads, LCR-Reader and the Smart Tweezers LCR-meters utilize gold-plated tweezers as the probes, allowing for one-handed-use and a simplistic way of testing and troubleshooting Surface Mount Technology. When an SMD is between the tweezers’ tips, LCR-Reader will automatically determine the type of component and best test range before measuring for L, C or R, and any secondary value such as the ESR. All measurement results, component type, and test frequency used are instantly shown on the display. The devices reduce the time spent on determining component values
