On Thursday, Oct. 1, Dutch Bros will kicked-off Breast Cancer Awareness Month by releasing “Be Aware” travel mugs – Dutch Bros will donate $5 from every mug sold to the OHSU Knight Cancer Institute for breast cancer research.

“Dutch Bros is extremely proud to contribute to the Knight Cancer Institute,” said Travis Boersma, Dutch Bros Co-founder. “These scientists and researchers continue to make huge strides in how cancer is identified and treated. We are stoked to have the opportunity to continue to support their scientific vision to treat a cancer that affects the lives of so many.”

Beginning Oct. 1, the “Be Aware” travel mugs will be available at all 250 Dutch Bros locations for $12 while supplies last. A mug purchase will also include a Dutch Bros drink of your choice. Dutch Bros will donate $5 from every mug sold to breast cancer research.

Funds will directly benefit the OHSU Knight Cancer Institute and will support breast cancer research, helping researchers find better ways to detect, treat and prevent breast cancers.

Dutch Bros is committed to helping the OHSU Knight Cancer Institute end cancer as we know it. The institute’s track record of success and vision to transform cancer research and care recently inspired Nike Co-founder Phil Knight and his wife, Penny to donate $500 million to the Knight Cancer Institute as part of a successful two-year $1 billion matching challenge campaign. Dutch Bros’ donation helped OHSU reach this challenge match and will continue to support its scientific vision.
