Lazydays & University of Florida Gators Celebrate Successful Exclusive RV Tailgating Lot Event
Gainesville, Fla. (PRWEB) October 02, 2015 -- Lazydays, the RV Authority and world’s largest RV dealership, teamed up with the University of Florida (UF) Gators on a welcome event exclusive to Lazydays RV tailgating lot pass holders prior to the Florida Gators vs. Tennessee Volunteers kickoff game, on Saturday at the UF ‘Alligator Alley’ inside the O’Connell Center. Attendees had the opportunity to meet Jack Youngblood, Florida Gator legend and former professional football player, while enjoying complimentary food and beverages from Sonny’s BBQ with fellow RVers and Lazydays staff.
“We’re overjoyed to have been able to celebrate alongside so many RV enthusiasts,” said Ron Fleming, Lazydays Vice President/General Manager. “The Lazydays team is blown away by the turnout of our tailgating event. To see all the fans and RVers come out to celebrate with us was truly the highlight of our day.”
All RV pass holders were invited to attend, and as part of the memorable pre-game experience, fans were also invited to explore some of the nation’s top RV brands in the Lazydays display at Fan Fest outside of Gate 2. RVs were open and available for browsing, and Gators game day RVers got to explore the different ultimate tailgating vehicles Lazydays has to offer.
“Lazydays tailgating RVs have fantastic and innovative features that really make tailgating an adventure for all involved,” said Lazydays Chief Marketing Officer John Lebbad. “We’re thrilled that our partnership with the University of Florida has allowed us to bring these one-of-a-kind opportunities to our customer base and to Gator fans.”
Lazydays RV is the official sponsor of the five (5) TAPS RV Lots surrounding the University of Florida campus. The RV tailgating lots offer a memorable gameday experience to Gator fans and their families who are RV enthusiasts.
“We’re excited to bring this unique experience to our fans,” said Martin Salamone, the Gator’s Assistant Athletic Director, Revenue Generation & Fan Retention. “Since our partnership with Lazydays, we were able to build on the momentum and put our best foot forward in hosting exciting events on gamedays.”
The multi-year pact between Lazydays and the university was brokered by IMG, the university’s multimedia rights partner, and will unfold across at least three years. This partnership emphasizes Lazydays commitment to the RV tailgating lifestyle. With a great selection of RVs that are perfect for the ultimate tailgating experience, the Lazydays team is always on the lookout for opportunities to celebrate outdoor activities, good times and gathering with friends and family.
